CONCERNING THE REALIZATION OF EXPORTS, IMPORTS AND THE FLOW OF FOREIGN EXCHANGE

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,

Elucidation

Considering :

that in order to better guarantee the smooth flow of export and import goods it is deemed necessary to amend Government Regulation No. 1/1982 on the realization of exports, imports and the flow of foreign exchange.

In view of :

To stipulate :

THE GOVERNMENT REGULATION CONCERNING THE AMENDMENT OF GOVERNMENT REGULATION NO. 1/J982 ON THE REALIZATION OF EXPORTS, IMPORTS AND THE FLOW OF FOREIGN EXCHANGE.

Article I

The provision in Article 6 of Government Regulation No.l/1982 on the realization of exports, imports and the flow of foreign exchange shall be amended so that it reads as follows:

"Article 6

The Minister of Trade shall determine check prices for the calculation of the export tax and/or extra export tax."

Article II

This government regulation shall take effect as from the date of enforcement.

For public cognizance, this government regulation shall be enforced by publishing it in the Statute Book of the Republic of Indonesia.

GENERAL

In order to further smoothen the flow of export and import goods iT is deemed necessary to adopt measures to promote the efficiency of foreign trade service, which is expected to enhance the competitiveness of Indonesian export products.

A smoother and more efficient flow of foreign trade will induce the development of domestic production.
